This is just a small and simple piece on one of the greatest shows that I've ever seen, be it live or on dvd. More might come later.
The evening of May 9th, was probably one of the most memorable in Toronto's History, It was in mine. Pearl Jam kicked off their world tour in ideal fashion; brilliant. The performance was rated as one of the best that Toronto has ever seen, earning them 4.5 /5 stars from a local newspaper.
That's one less thing off my "to-do list before I die". We were afraid they'd mostly play songs from their new album but they played pretty much everything. Though, Alive was a very very pleasant surprise. They ended the show with a double encore. Probably their last show in Canada.
