I woke up at 6 A.M. yesterday, for the first time in five or six years. I don't think I want to do it again. There are only a not-a-handful of things that one can pre-occupy one's self with at such an hour.
One can either
- Stay in bed... an ill-advised activity, can lead to harmful levels of frustration.
- Turn off the air-conditioning and then stay in bed... that just speeds up the process of reaching harmful levels of frustration.
- Don't watch tv. It's just depressing at that hour.
- Re-check your sheep count.
- Go for breakfast with other jet-lagged friends
- Think before you ink.
- If you're in Lahore, then eat.
- If you're not in Lahore, then wish that you were.
... there's nothing else worth doing more.
